Elbow pain 3

What we treat

Here are some of the most common conditions that we treat:

This refers to inflammation of a tendon, the tissue that connects muscle to bone. Common types in the elbow include:

  • Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis): Pain on the outside of the elbow from overuse of the muscles that extend the wrist and fingers.
  • Golfer’s Elbow (Medial Epicondylitis): Pain on the inside of the elbow from overuse of the muscles that flex the wrist and fingers.

Inflammation of bursae, the fluid-filled sacs that cushion the elbow joint. This can cause localised pain and tenderness.

Compression of the ulnar nerve in the elbow can lead to numbness, tingling, and weakness in the pinky and ring fingers.

Arthritis can affect the elbow joint, causing pain, stiffness, and reduced flexibility.

Overuse or sudden movements can strain or sprain ligaments and muscles around the elbow, leading to pain and limited movement.

The bones of the elbow joint can dislocate, causing severe pain, deformity, and needing immediate medical attention.
